Britney and the Boys Have a Sleepover
While Kevin Federline partied in Miami Beach this weekend, Britney Spears stayed at home...with the kids! E! News can confirm that Britney had a 12-hour overnight visit with her two sons Saturday night at her Los Angeles home. "The kids were picked up before noon on Sunday," says a source. It was Spears' first overnight visit since she lost visitation rights with Sean Preston and Jayden James following her infamous visit to the UCLA psych ward in January. Commissioner Scott Gordon, after being presented evidence that Britney's mental health has improved, modified the terms of her visitation last week to allow overnight visits. Meanwhile, K-Fed picked up where he left off in Las Vegas two weeks ago and partied at Miami nightclub Mansion on Friday night.
Mariah Carey dries off in Med
Mariah Carey has been photographed being dried off by two assistants after she swam in the Mediterranean Sea.
The 'Touch My Body' singer, who has a reputation for being a diva, enjoyed a peaceful swim on her second honeymoon with husband Nick Cannon off the island of Capri.
As she emerged from the water, Mariah was quickly met by two assistants bearing towels, who then proceeded to ensure she was completely dry by rubbing her all over. A source said: "Mariah looked in absolute heaven as she was dried off.
She just held out her arms to her side and let the assistants get rid of any water remaining on her body."
Britney claims she has never been healthier
The 'Toxic’ singer, who recently showed off her toned body in a skimpy bikini while on holiday in Mexico, revealed her fantastic new figure is down to a strict high-protein diet. She told America’s OK! magazine: "I'm the healthiest I've been all my life. My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don't eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I'll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch.
'I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it's not much, but it's actually a lot of food if you eat the right things."
Britney has also embarked on a new exercise regime and has been doing 'lots of cardio and weights' five times a week. Meanwhile, it has been claimed the 26-year-old singer is going to try to regain full custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, two and 23-month-old Jayden James.
Britney is believed to have visited celebrity lawyer Barry Tarlow’s office with her mother Lynne on Tuesday (19.08.08).
She is reportedly determined to get her sons back in the next six to nine months. Britney currently has two visits and one overnight stay with her children, while her ex-husband Kevin Federline has primary custody. A hearing has been scheduled for September 16.
Lily Allen won't quit drugs
The 'Smile' singer, who attempted to punch a passer-by after leaving a London nightspot in the early hours of Tuesday morning (19.08.08), admits she isn't a "good person" when she is under the influence of illegal substances but still can't bring herself to quit. She told Paper magazine: "I'm not going to say I'm never going to do drugs again. I just know I'm not a good person on drugs."
However, the 23-year-old star insists she did stop using recreational drugs after she discovered she was expecting a baby with then-boyfriend Ed Simons last November.
Lily, who suffered a miscarriage in January, says she vowed to clean up her life for the sake of her unborn child.
She said: "It was the hardest thing for me. When I realised I was pregnant and realised I wanted to have the baby, I made a huge decision - to make my life more stable."
Lily has previously openly discussed her drug use, admitting she first began experimenting with ecstasy when she was just 14. Lily also claimed she thinks her drink was spiked in June this year when she was pictured being carried out of a party for the Glamour Magazine awards in London.
She said: "I did drink that night. Then I woke up in my bed at 8 am and felt totally fine. So I Googled myself, and I saw the pictures.
Christina Aguilera the “super-b***h”
Christina Aguilera wants to show her son she is a 'super-b***h'.
The 'Dirrty’ singer – who gave birth to her first child with husband Jordan Bratman in January – insists becoming a parent hasn’t changed her attitude and she is looking forward to showing Max her feisty on stage persona.
She said: 'I’m not going to go down the safe route because I have had a child. Motherhood hasn’t changed me.
'It’s like the line in my new single, 'Keeps Getting’ Better’, says, 'I’m still a super-b***h.’ 'I want to be the best mom I can be but I also want to show my son who I am as a person, not just this woman who changes diapers and breast feeds.'
Christina is set to play the Africa Rising Festival in London this week and is looking forward to unveiling her new baby-inspired live show.
She added: 'This is my first concert since I had Max and I can’t wait for everybody to see the full Christina show. It’s an incredible balancing act being a mom.
'But he’s the inspiration behind my new music, my new sound and even my new look.
'It’s all about playfulness and having fun now.'
