Mariah Carey has been photographed being dried off by two assistants after she swam in the Mediterranean Sea.
The 'Touch My Body' singer, who has a reputation for being a diva, enjoyed a peaceful swim on her second honeymoon with husband Nick Cannon off the island of Capri.
As she emerged from the water, Mariah was quickly met by two assistants bearing towels, who then proceeded to ensure she was completely dry by rubbing her all over. A source said: "Mariah looked in absolute heaven as she was dried off.
She just held out her arms to her side and let the assistants get rid of any water remaining on her body."

The June leak of nine allegedly "mastered, finished" tracks from Guns N' Roses' long-delayed "Chinese Democracy" spurred a renewed round of chatter about whether the Axl Rose-led band will finally release the 14-years-in-the-making album.
But some concrete signs are finally emerging that the album's release could be imminent. That's because, according to sources, negotiations are underway for "Chinese Democracy" to come out as an exclusive at one of the big boxes -- either Wal-Mart or Best Buy. Negotiations are also ongoing to have conventional record company distribution, another source says. Guns N' Roses is now managed by Irving Azoff's Front Line Management, and Azoff is a well-known proponent of issuing albums exclusively through retailers. He released the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden" through Wal-Mart, much to the chagrin of other merchants. |

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) has called for a ban on Avril Lavigne, who is due to play an Aug. 29 concert in Kuala Lumpur's 45,000-capacity Stadium Merdeka. In a memorandum issued to the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry and to the Kuala Lumpur Mayor, Federal Territory, PAS Youth Chief Kamaruzaman Mohamed requested that the authorities ban the Sony BMG artist's concert because "rock and punk is not suitable for the young generation" particularly in the month when the country celebrates its 51st year of Independence. A spokesperson for the concert promoter Galaxy Group says it has assured the authorities that Lavigne will comply with local regulations including her choice of attire and showmanship. "The PAS Youth Council is not being logical in calling for a ban of Avril's concert," suggests Sandy Monteiro, chairman of the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM). "The fact that we are able to attract A-list stars like Avril is a plus for our industry. The narrow-minded opinion of such groups sets us back to the dark ages." |
