Katy PerryKaty Perry kissed a girl on Wednesday night (24.09.08).

The singer – who shot to fame with her catchy single 'I Kissed a Girl’ – copied her song by locking lips with a female friend, believed to be Stine Bramsen, the lead singer of Danish pop band Alphabeat.

The clinch took place at a party following Katy’s performance at London club Scala.

Katy – who was wearing a royal blue minidress and rose-patterned tights – hit the dancefloor with her blonde pal at the Ruby Lounge venue as soon as she arrived.

The 23-year-old star’s boyfriend Travis McCoy recently banned her from kissing any women, insisting he should be the only one she smooches.

The same sex smooch comes after Alphabeat recently revealed their recent hit single 'Boyfriend’ is actually about lesbians.

Singer Anders SG said: 'It's actually inspired by a Swedish film about two lesbians. They're teenagers and it's a story about them discovering love and how they feel about other girls.'

Pete Wentz Pete Wentz is worried his baby won’t like his music.

The Fall Out Boy rocker – whose wife Ashlee Simpson is due to give birth in October - is currently in the studio working on the band’s third album and says the record is bringing extra pressure because he wants his impending new arrival to like his songs.

He said: 'This is the first record we've made that I'll be able to play for my baby. That's a lot more pressure than whatever my record label thinks of it."

Although his wife is also a pop star, Pete has ruled out ever collaborating with Ashlee.

He added: "We try to keep those parts of our lives very separate.

"We try to be sounding boards, but right now we're both in a time of our lives where it's important to do it alone - neither of us want to become a footnote in the other one's career.

'Besides, I think the last thing she's thinking about right now is the new Fall Out Boy record!'

Fall Out Boy’s next album, 'Folie a Deux’, is due for release in November.

Eminem the liar PDF Print E-mail

EminemEminem has been branded a liar by his mother.

Debbie Nelson claims the image her son - real name Marshall Mathers -painted of her being a bad parent addicted to medication, living off welfare and neglectful of her youngest child is wholly untrue.

In her new memoir 'My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem', Debbie says: "At first I went along with it for Marshall's sake - if I made one mistake as a mother, it was giving in to my eldest son's every whim."

Debbie added the pair were very close when he was a child, and claims he told her he negatively portrayed her because "the fouler he was, the more the audience loved him".

She explains: "He never knew his father and I did all I could to make up for it. I wasn't happy when he made up a whole new life for himself - what mother wants to be known as a pill-popping alcoholic who lives on welfare?

"To tell the truth, I was heartbroken. The lies started coming thick and fast - and not just from Marshall. I think he's forgotten the good times we had, and this book is my way of setting the record straight."

Eminem has attacked his mother in a number of songs, including his first hit single 'My Name Is' which included the scathing line: "99 per cent of my life I was lied to/ I just found out my mom does more dope than I do."
